Micro-Pulse LLC develops specialized technology for electro-magnetic stimulation of living tissues, both in vitro and in vivo, and measurement of physiological forces and mechanical displacement in developing and engineered tissues of the musculo-skeletal system.
SKELETAL MUSCLE TISSUE ENGINEERING:
Micro-Pulse LLC is actively involved in developing bioreactors to enhance the phenotypic development of skeletal muscle through the use of both external and implanted tissue engineering bioreactor systems with embedded control and trans-dermal DIO.
CARDIAC TISSUE ENGINEERING:
Micro-Pulse is actively involved in research on the development of functional cardiac muscle tissue in vitro.
TENDON & LIGAMENT TISSUE ENGINEERING:
Micro-Pulse has developed specialized systems for research on the development of functional connective tissues such as tendons and ligaments.
BLOOD TISSUE ENGINEERING & COAGULATION:
Micro-Pulse LLC developed the core technology for the Entegrion PCM: Portable Coagulation Monitor. The PCM was further developed under contract to the US Army with CDMRP funding in 2011 - 2012. Contact Entegrion Inc. for PCM licensing opportunities.
